Overdraft Privilege

You must opt-in by August 15, 2010 so that we can keep paying your Point-of-Sale debit card & ATM transactions that occur when you are using your Overdraft Privilege. If you do not opt-in, but want to keep overdraft privilege, we will only be able to pay your Check & ACH transactions after August 15, 2010. Basile State Bank is participating in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under that program, through December 31, 2009, all noninterest-bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account. Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.
